HAPPY Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce has called on his shock troops to re-produce the form that shattered Leicester on Saturday.

Big Sam's men blasted five at Filbert Street to stun the Premier League and Allardyce wants an action replay when Middlesbrough come to the Reebok tonight -- in terms of performance at least.

"We've got to try and play the same way as we did at Leicester and not to be too cavalier just because we are at home," he said.

"We've got to create our chances when it is right for us and not to get too anxious or too keen to force the game.

"The lads have set a level I have asked them to repeat it. That's a big, big challenge because the level of performance was so high.

"But if we want to progress in the Premiership then we haven't got to go below that standard."

The victory at Leicester was achieved in spite of the fact Allardyce fielded a team weakened by injury.

Colin Hendry (knee), Gareth Farrelly (thigh), Djibril Diawara (ankle) and Akinori Nishizawa (stomach bug) all missed the Filbert Street massacre and club skipper Gudni Bergsson was substituted as a precaution after complaining of a tight hamstring.

But Allardyce saw Nishizawa come through training on Monday and also reckons Bergsson should be fit.

However, former Blackburn Rovers ace Hendry, who picked up the injury against Southport in pre-season, remains a big doubt.

Allardyce, who used the fact that Bolton were tipped as favourites to finish bottom as motivation for his team, will leave it late before naming his side to face a Middlesbrough side who themselves will be reeling from a 4-0 home hammering at the hands of Arsenal.
