A POLICE car under repair at a Bury garage was damaged by vandals early today.
Three masked men climbed into a compound at the Walker Farrimond garage in Manchester Road, Bury, at 2.25am.
They then attacked the "W" registered Volvo police car. The vandals were seen to leave in a dark saloon car.
Later, the police car was removed from the garage and taken to Openshaw for further inspection. Investigations are continuing.
