TRADE unions say workers should have more bank holidays to bring us into line with Europe.
The TUC is pressing for three more throughout the year. And why not?
Why shouldn't we have the same entitlements as our French and German counterparts, or even the Italians who have 12, Austria 13, and Spanish and Portuguese 14?
We're being brought into line with Europe for all the stupid things, so why can't we have more of the good like their holidays, higher wages and old age pensions?
