HOLIDAYMAKERS jetting out from Manchester Airport on overnight flights this week need to add extra time to their journey to the airport as motorway work starts tonight.
The work, part of a 10-week programme on the M60 to strengthen three bridges on Junction 5, will result in closure of sliproads tonight, tomorrow and Friday.
The M60 A5103 clockwise northbound sliproad will close at 9pm tonight until 5.30am tomorrow. The southbound sliproad will close tomorrow at 9pm until 5.30am on Friday and again overnight Friday/Saturday.
