SOUNESS has escaped FA punishment following his confrontation with Tottenham's Mauricio Taricco at Ewood two weeks ago.
Souness got involved in a heated exchange with the Argentinian defender after a savage tackle from Chris Perry flattened Matt Jansen.
But the FA have decided not to take any further action, opting instead for a warning from the League Managers' Association about Souness's future conduct.
