"Titanic" star Kate Winslet and husband Jim Threapleton have confirmed that they are separating and it could have affected her decision to take over Winona Ryder's role in a new British film.
Winona was forced to pull out of Lily and the Secret Planting because of a stomach bug that landed her in a London hospital.
Movie chiefs asked Titanic star Kate, 25, to step in last week but it could now look gloomy for Kate as she needed to take time out to sort her private life out.
