MORECAMBE'S incredible run of results at Hayes had to come to an end some time.

However, Chris Lightfoot put Morecambe back in the game with his second goal of the season. Slack defending by Hayes allowed Chris Lightfoot to put Morecambe back into the game before Ian Hodges hit the third to leave Morecambe with a long journey home without even the comfort of seeing the England game.
RESULT: Hayes 3 Morecambe 1
