KIDDIES from two nursery schools dressed up as insects to celebrate Barlick Bug Week.
The youngsters from La Petite Ecole and Pendle nurseries went out on a bugs parade in the yard of the former Rainhall Road school.
Some of them will be taking part in a fancy dress competition on an open air stage in the Town Square on Saturday as part of the main celebrations.
The event will include a free variety show, live bands, street performers, circus acts, giant bug sculpture trail, rides on fire engines and canal boats, mini fairground rides and much more.
