Scruffy appearance, careless behaviour

IN answer to Mrs S Maynard and Katie Donnellan (Letters, September 10), I do not retract one word of my previous remarks about the appearance of today's women.

I am not a misogynist -- far from it. But a woman who is careless about her appearance is nearly always careless about her behaviour in public.
