WALES and Scotland now have their own government, but should the North West follow suit?
That's the poser at North West Constitutional Convention meetings being held this month at which Leigh, Atherton and Tyldesley people are invited to go along and voice their opinions.
On Friday, at the Crown and Mitre Hotel, in Carlisle at 6.30pm the theme is: Would a north west regional government have dealt more effectively with the foot and mouth crisis?
