IN response to Mercedes' latest series of TV advertisements claiming that all their car owners are different types, I would like to point out three similarities that I have noticed during years of driving:
They are blessed with superior vision, judging by the speeds attempted in thick fog;
In heavy traffic, there is a tendency to choose the least convenient lane;
There is, of course, the penchant for the "vanity plate".
