TRAVELLERS camping at a disused petrol station were warned that they could be risking their lives.
They set up camp on the old Shell UK filling station at Bottomgate, Blackburn, when other travellers moved in on land near Tesco, across the road at Hill Street.
Shell UK's regional surveyor confirmed that there were concerns because of the danger factor with children playing around the petrol tanks.
