VANDALS caused £1,000 worth of damage to public toilets in Clitheroe Castle grounds.
The incident happened between 6.30pm on Monday and 8am on Tuesday.
Two gates were forced, possibly with a large rock, before the vandals smashed the toilet bowls, tiling and light fittings in both the male and female toilets.
