ON the pitch things appear to be turning the corner for Blackpool FC.

Saturday's first home league win this season against highly respected Wigan was an enjoyable, exciting match crowned by a "miracle goal" from the ever-improving Danny Coid.

The fans are also playing their part in BFC's recent run of success, especially during the second half against Wigan when not everything was going our way.

Off the pitch the stadium delay is very disappointing. PNE have built their new stand in seven months. It's at least double that time period since the excavators moved in at Bloomfield Road, and it will now be around Christmas before our fans are housed in new accommodation.

On a brighter note it was pleasing that Karl Oyston made a statement earlier this week that the club will do its best to hang on to Brett Ormerod.

Real Progress hope that Mr Oyston will immediately follow this up, by welcoming three or four quality new signings to Bloomfield Road, especially in the area of central defence. The fans certainly deserve this sort of good news after all they have to put up with!

Real Progress consider that all fans are customers of BFC and therefore have a right to be treated as such.

With respect to a few comments that have been made about Real Progress columns, we confirm that we neither retract or wish to modify any previous statements made to date. We see no reason why fans should be in any conflict whatsoever.

We only wish to utilise our group and associated media to bring issues between BFC and its customers into an open debate that the whole spectrum of fans can access.

We sincerely hope to see more Pool fans (old and new) going to Bloomfield Road on future match days.
