I WRITE in response to the offensive and inaccurate letter from Coun Ian Fowler (Citizen, September 20). If Coun Fowler bothered to look he would see that there is indeed a bus shelter on Westminster Road. To describe the streets of Blackpool as being akin to a third world country is ludicrous. In the last ten years the Labour Council has done far more to improve Blackpool than the Conservatives ever did. Had the Tories done a halfway decent job, Labour would not have had such an uphill struggle. If anyone has his head in the sand it is Coun Fowler.
