DRIVERS in Blackburn held up in Traffic snarl-ups caused by council improvements of the town centre have been urged to be patient while work is being carried out.
Traffic was held up along Freckleton Street at 7pm last night as drivers were caught in work diverting traffic along King Street.
But a spokesman for Blackburn with Darwen Council, which is carrying out the work as part of the town centre regeneration, said the roadworks were only temporary and would last a matter of months.
