HOWARD Paul Brooks, 40, of Gorse Mount, Gorse Road, Blackburn, was given a conditional discharge for 12 months by Blackburn magistrates after pleading guilty to stealing six bottles of whisky and two multi packs of crisps from Morrisons.
The magistrates made no order for costs after hearing that Brooks had been dealt with for other offences of theft since the Morrisons incident back in July.
Daniel King, defending, said Brooks had received a combination of probation and community service and efforts had been made to get the latest offence dealt with at the same time.
