A 23-YEAR-old man seen kicking on doors in a Burnley cul-de-sac didn't even know where it was.
Burnley magistrates heard how Andrew Mitchell, 23, was shouting incoherently, unsteady on his feet and swore at a police officer in Barley Grove.
Mitchell, of Longworth Avenue, Burnley, admitted breaching the peace and was bound over in the sum of £200 for 12 months.
An allegation of being drunk and disorderly was withdrawn.
Dylan Bradshaw, defending, said the incident was quite bizarre. Mitchell usually lived a normal life. He had a good job and had just moved into a new house.
He had little or no recollection of what happened. He did not even know where Barley Grove was and was rude to the police, who gave him more than one opportunity to leave.
Mr Bradshaw said Mitchell had gone out from work and had too much to drink. He apologised to the residents if they were upset by his behaviour.
