PROFESSIONAL snooker returns to Preston Guild Hall when the inaugral LG Cup starts on Friday October 12.
Ronnie O'Sullivan is top seed for tournament and he will begin his campaign gaainst either 1995 World Championship winner Nigel Bond or Jon Birch in the second round on Monday.
With total prize money of £597,200 at stake -- with £82,500 going to the winner -- competiton is bound to be fierce.
The first round starts at 2pm with the evening session starting at 7.30pm. Sessions on Saturday and Sunday start at 12noon and 7pm. Next week's sessions start at 1.10pm and 7.45pm. The final takes place on October 21.
