JOSEPH and Josephine Aspin, of Blackburn, toasted the Lancashire Evening Telegraph friendship column as they celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
The two lonely hearts were brought together by the Kate Friendly columns and enjoyed a whirlwind romance before tying the knot.
