A PILOT and two passengers had a lucky escape when the engines of their light aircraft started to fail.
Alan Cooper was flying Burnley men Jeff Slater and Jimmy Ashworth from Blackpool to Dublin but had to turn back minutes into the flight. All three men were shocked but unhurt.
