BLACKPOOL SCORPIONS' first and second teams gained full points without playing last weekend when their respective opponents could not raise teams!
But Scorpions' Under-14s went to league leaders Salford and lost 10-18.
New signing Dean Kuzan was in the Scorpions side which made a bright start and was unlucky to give away a penalty leading to the home side scoring a converted try.
Carl Eastwood scored for Scorpions after some good work by the forwards, but it was 10-4 at the interval and Salford scored another try straight from the re-start.
Then Simon Ogden barged over after good work by Jamie Knight, and Carl Eastwood converted to make it 10-14.
But Salford had the last word with another try late on, although Scorpions had proved they were capable of matching the league leaders.
