REGARDING your news report about teenager Lawrence Willsher being hit in the face by a group of youths while waiting at a bus stop (LET, October 3), it would appear to me the police were very slow to respond.
Also, I am puzzled by Blackburn Ice Arena's apparent refusal to help someone in obvious distress.
