AFTER match comment from Burnley's Stand Ternent and Forest's Paul Hart.

Paul Hart, Forest manager, said: "I THINK we had to dig deep, it was a very tough game. Our players are finding out new things about themselves.

They understand they were playing aginst a very good team. They were very well organised and very hard working so it was a tough game for us.

It was very hard for us to get our passing game going. We started to make headway in the second half and our centre forwards were opening them up a bit.

I do feel we got our rewards today. Some games we have played excellently and got diddly doo dah for it.

It has been a difficult time for Stern John this week. He was away on international duty and lost a childhood friend so it was nice to see him leave the field with a smile on his face.

I was always going to put on young Westcarr, there was no point putting him on the bench if I was not going to use him. He did really well to take the ball off the defender near the end and he normally scores those.

But our goal came from a break from our box that was started with a defensive header. Some of our defensive heading in the last 15 minutes was absolutely terrific."

Stan Ternent said: "WE have now lost our last three away games by the odd goal, 2-1 at Norwich, 1-0 and West Brom and 1-0 again here.

But I think we deserved a point, I thought it was going to be a no-goal game. To be honest I thought that they scored when we were in the ascendancy, we were coming into it. I think we passed the ball well against a very good side.

Nik (Michopoulos) had a fantastic match and it was a cruel deflection for the goal. But sometimes in football you don't get what you deserve. We just have to be strong and keep battling away. I know it will turn around for us."
