IN belated reply to Mr Leslie Jones' criticism of the appearance of the fairer sex of Blackburn (Letters, September 5), I would say that, when the occasion demands it, their dress is second to none.
I would also point out that however attractive window dressing may be, it's what's in the shop that's important.
