FAIRFIELD Hospital has maintained an acceptable level of cleanliness in the latest round of Government spot-checks.
And North Manchester General Hospital has cleaned up its act to achieve an excellent standard of cleanliness.
Hospitals are awarded red, yellow or green grades, green being the top.
The Fairfield complex was again given a yellow rating, following an inspection in September.
But, Crumpsall-based North Manchester improved from a yellow rating, following an inspection in April of this year, to a green grade in the September spot-check.
