STAFF looked on amazement as mobile hairdresser Ann-Marie Kennedy shaved the head of office manager Allen Ward at Initial Electronic Security Systems, Shadsworth Road, Blackburn.
The firm held a fancy dress and jeans day for Children in Need but Allen decided to take matters a little further.
The head shave helped swell the total to £650 a collection from the IESS branch network and a donation from parent company Rentokil lifted the total to £2,670.
The event was organised by Lisa Kirkman and Gary Foulds.
