AN afternoon of Christmas carols and verse is planned for Tuesday, December 18, at the Central Library on Town Hall Street, Blackburn.
St Annes RC Primary School music teacher Stella Birwistle, will take youngsters to the Hornby Lecture Theatre for the 1.30pm performance when more than 30 children from the school will sing Christmas carols and recite poetry.
Admission to the event is free and a warm welcome awaits everyone who wants to go along for a nostalgic afternoon of Christmas song and verse.
