RISING local tennis star Francessca Kinsella is this week mixing it with the best after qualifying for the finals of the prestigious Sunday Telegraph/David Lloyd Leisure Junior Tennis Grand Prix.
Francessca, 14, from Tyldesley has qualified for the trip of a lifetime to take part in the event which is being staged at the famous La Manga Club in Spain.
A member of Tyldesley Tennis Club and a pupil at St Mary's High School, Astley, has spent the summer months collating performance-related points at tournaments all over the country. She qualified in fourth position in the Under 14s Girls category, beating over 8000 players along the way. She will now compete against 31 other finalists.
