LR worked hard throughout but the visitors' keeper hardly had a save to make.
In contrast Rovers' Steve Powell pulled off two quality stops before Alan Glover's corner eluded him completely to finish in the back of the net. Former Daisy Hill striker Stuart Rudd made it 2-0 by the interval, Glover got the third from a free kick and one-time Atherton Colls striker Graham Dodd scored two late on.
