RUMOURS linking Aston Villa star David Ginola with a move to Turf Moor would appear to be well wide of the mark.
The French midfielder's name has been linked with the Clarets but with wages thought to be in excess of £35,000, even a loan deal would look to be unlikely.
Ginola is out of favour at Villa Park and Burnley did surprise the football world when they brought in striking legend Ian Wright a couple of seasons ago. But speculation linking Ginola with a move to the Division One leaders has been dampened down in the Midlands, despite the player's unhappy club situation.
