PENDLE Citizen's Advice Bureau held a successful open day for prospective volunteers, who were given the opportunity to look around the Nelson premises, in Every Street, and watch a video on volunteering for the CAB.
They were also given the chance to talk to volunteer advisors and staff.
Anyone who missed the open day but would like to give six hours a week back to helping the community should contact their nearest CAB office, at either 61-63 Every Street, 2 Duke Street, Colne, or the former police station, in Manchester Road, Barnoldswick.
No formal qualifications are necessary as full training is provided as are travel expenses to and from the office.
