PENDLE'S indoor markets in Nelson and Colne have announced longer opening hours during the Christmas period.
The Admiral's Market Place, in Nelson, will be open on Tuesday, December 18, from 9am to 5pm, and on Sunday, December 23, from 10am to 4pm, in addition to normal opening hours.
It will be open this Friday until 6.30pm, instead of 5pm, to coincide with the Christmas lights switch-on at the
Pendle Rise Shopping Centre, formerly the Admiral Shopping Centre. To add to the festivities there will be a variety of competitions being held during the Christmas period within the market and free sherry and mince pies will be offered to customers on Thursday, December 20.
Extra opening times at Colne Market Hall will be 9am to 3pm, on Sunday, December 23, and 9am to 5pm, on Monday, December 31.
