THE people of Barnoldswick will be getting fit for charity next weekend during an event to raise money for the Cancer Research Campaign.
Fitness instructor Kim Salisbury, who runs Great Shape Fitness upstairs in the Conservative Club, in Station Road, will be putting them through their paces at aerobics and circuit classes.
She will work with children between 2.30 and 3.30pm, on Sunday, December 9, and after a half-hour break will take the adults through an hour-long session of aerobics, aerobikes and silly circuits. Children will pay 50p to join in and adults will pay £2.50, with all proceeds going to charity.
Kim said: "We hope some of our members will come along as well as anyone else who wants to help raise money. There will also be activities for those people who don't want to join in the exercise and just want to look around."
