NEIGHBOURS plucked a couple from the jaws of death as fire swept through a ground-floor flat.
James Doran and Carol Hinds made a desperate bid to escape but fell to the floor in a pool of blood at the Roman Road address.
Neighbours broke in and dragged them to safety.
