FORMER Accrington Stanley midfielder Brett Baxter is enjoying life back in full-time football.
The 22-year-old former Tranmere pro signed for Conference side Chester just days after the 5-0 drubbing of Worksop at the Crown Ground in early October.
Baxter had been at Stanley for three years after being released from Tranmere as a 19-year-old.
But the player wasn't on a contract and Chester were able to sign him for nothing.
"I am in and out of the side at Chester at the moment," said the player, who watched Stanley's 2-1 win over Rossendale in the UniBond League Cup at Dark Lane on Tuesday.
"But you have to patient. The move came out of the blue really. They watched me and after the 5-0 against Worksop they put seven days on me.
"They are full-time even though they are only in the Conference and it is nice to be back after three years as part-time player."
