DETAILS of Darwen Library Theatre's programme for next year have been unveiled.
Musical performances including tributes to Meatloaf and Freddie Mercury and a performance from Hat Stand Opera, to live theatre from Midland Actors Company and Talia Theatre.
And the theatre will be selling and accepting Theatre Tokens, a unique answer to the problem of which gift to buy someone who enjoys the theatre.
The tokens can be used at 200 other theatres nationwide and come in denominations of £5 and £10. They are available from Darwen Library Theatre box office in the library or in the theatre one hour before performances.
Executive Member for Leisure and Culture for Blackburn with Darwen Council, Councillor Kate Hollern said: "Darwen Library Theatre is one of the best venues around.
"We are really proud of this next season as it provides a really good mix of events with something for everyone.
"The Theatre is a very valuable community resource providing a top quality place for local groups to perform and a great place to see professional theatre and music.
