DARWEN Dashers are inviting you to "Race the Dingles" on Sunday.
Members of the cast of Emmerdale are expected to run in the five mile long David Staff Fell Race in memory of the young Dasher.
The race starts at the Kiosk in Sunnyhurst Woods at 11:30am and climbs Darwen Hill before returning. Entry is on the day only and a T-shirt will be presented to every finisher.
All finishers in the Longridge 7M Road Race this Sunday will win a Christmas Pudding. The race starts at 10am from Longridge Civic Hall off Berry Lane. The course climbs steadily over the first four miles, but there is a rapid descent over the last couple of miles.
The Stockport 10M starts at 11am on Sunday. All competitors win a T-shirt, and there is a free draw for a colour TV. The start and finish is at Woodbank Stadium, Woodbank Park, Turncroft Lane.
