AN 81-year-old woman was robbed of £100 in a lunchtime bag snatch.
The thief ran up to the woman from behind in Nelson Street, Bury, on Thursday (Nov 29) at 12.45pm.
He ripped her shopping bag, containing her purse, from her grasp and jumped into a waiting blue car.
Police have launched an appeal for witnesses. Detectives at Bury CID can be contacted on 856 8150.
The offender was white, clean shaven with light short hair. He wore dark clothing.
