RAMSBOTTOM boss Mike Kelly has a headache over his front partnership for tomorrow's NWCL Division One game at Glossop - but it is a nice one.

He has to decide whether to play Steve Orrell or Jamie Taylor up front along side top scorer Russell Brierley.

"I have to have a look at the team we are up against. If it is a big back four then Steve is best to flick on headers to Russell. If it is a nippy backline then Jamie will start," said the Rams chief.

Kelly is sweating over the fitness of Mike Langhorn who has a knee injury while fireman Dave Roach could need an operation on his knee.

"Other than those we have a clean bill of health," said Kelly.

Meanwhile the Rams will be look to get back on a winning streak. After four straight wins they lost 5-3 to Kidsgrove in their last outing.

"We didn't play for 30 minutes and you can't do that against a team like Kidsgrove. Then it was down to individual errors."

They will aim to bounce back at Glossop who, although in the lower reaches of the division, are managed by former Bury favourite Mark Carter.

"I think they are a young side. But they have Mark as their player-manager and you can't take anything for granted in this league."

Good news on Jamie Wilson, the unfortunate player who managed just 70

minutes against Winsford recently after being taken on board at the

Riverside.

An operation has been lined up for him and it is hoped the former Bradford

City YTS player will soon be back in action.

Alfred Mocheke, the South African defender who had to return home because

of visa problems after putting in a couple of promising performances, has

kept in touch with the club.

The Rams are going to help him by writing a letter to the South African

authorities saying there is a place for him in semi-professional football

with them in this country.
