ALAN Curbishley, Charlton manager was disappointed with the atmosphere during the game against Rovers.

He said: "I LOOKED at my watch 15 minutes into the second half and the whole place was flat.

"We couldn't get the crowd going and they couldn't get us going and the atmosphere probably summed it up.

"I couldn't see us scoring and the game had 0-0 written all over it for me until they scored.

"I was very disappointed with the first goal.

"I'd like to see it again to see how Duff managed to run through unopposed.

"But give Blackburn credit, they defended very well and we never really looked like we would nick a chance.

"For the home team not to have a shot of any note is very disappointing, especially considering the run we have had.

"But perhaps this is a wake-up call for us.

"I think people came here expecting us to roll Blackburn over but it was a very dour game and I can't remember many of my players having a good day.

"In fact, it's very difficult to think of anyone who played anything like their best.

"If we'd have picked something up it would have been a bonus because I don't think we deserved anything more than a point.

"But Blackburn have gone home with a big three points for them."

Graeme Souness

"OUR aim is to avoid getting in a relegation scrap and be in the Premiership come the start of next season.

"We have got two home games now and if we can do the business in those we can start January in a nice position in the league and a Worthington Cup semi-final to look forward to."
