ROVERS are to appeal against Craig Short's sending off earlier this week after watching the incident again on video.
Short was red-carded by referee Clive Wilkes during the second half of Wednesday's 3-0 defeat at home to Sunderland following a clash with Kevin Kyle.
But manager Graeme Souness believes the official acted too hastily.
"We will appeal against that because it's an absolute outrage," said Souness.
"I'm sure when the referee sees it again he will realise that he got it wrong on the day."
