LANCASHIRE'S Police Authority has launched a county-wide search to recruit two new independent members.
The authority wants to hear from people interested in community safety.
Applicants must also be good communicators, committed to building partnerships between the police and local communities and keen to ensure good value policing.
Chairman of the authority Dr Ruth Henig said they were particulary keen to hear from women over 45 as they are currently under-represented.
