A FIVE-year-old was among three people in the same car who were injured when it was involved in a collision in Manchester Road near to the junction with Rupert Street, Nelson.
The crash involved a Ford Mondeo driven by Samina Kousar, 23, of Every Street, who was not hurt, and a Nissan Primera driven by Mohammed Yousaf, 48, of Ashford Street.
Mr Yousaf suffered a back injury and whiplash. Also taken to Burnley General Hospital for treatment for whiplash were Syedia Yousaf, 55, of the same address and the youngster, Hafsa Jabar, of Temple Street. All were allowed home after treatment.
