CHORLEY Lynx will be looking to return to winning ways tomorrow when they entertain Batley Bulldogs at Victory Park (kick off 3pm).

Last week Lynx went down to a disappointing 22-6 defeat at Barrow with a performance that did not please coach Graeme West.

After the game he said: "This was a setback after three good displays, we were not good enough, ill discipline and failure to keep possession led to our downfall and we will have to work on things in training in preparation for this week's game."

Lynx could be strengthened by the return of Mike Prescott who has recovered from ankle ligament trouble whilst ex-Rochdale winger Ian Hayes could also make the squad.

Also in contention for a starting place are Paul Wilcox, Lee Birdseye and Peter Cahalin who have been left out of the last two squads.

Batley come to Victory Park with just one victory in their opening three games.

Their Boxing Day fixture against Dewsbury was postponed due to frozen ground, the previous week they struggled to beat York 22-18 and they were indebted to substitute Mark Cass w ho gave an inspirational display to bring them back from a half time deficit.

The half back pairing of Glen Tomlinson and Dean Lawford could hold the key to the game especially if Lynx fail to keep them under control.

Another player Lynx will have to watch is ex-England captain Steve Molloy who has joined Batley on a monthly contract.

Lynx will select from: Watts, Jones, Eddie Kilgannon, Tom Kilgannon, Redicliffe, Patel, Duffy, Street, Roden, Parry, Harrison, Bellamy, Bloor, ramsdale, Causey, Braddish, Prest, Argent, Wilcox, Birdseye, Cahalin, Hayes.
