Leigh RMI 2 Emley 2 by David Magilton: LEIGH RMI know how to live dangerously - both on and off the pitch.

The cash-strapped Conference outfit, who have spent most of the season fighting for survival, showed that same kind of gritty determination to grab an injury-time lifeline in the FA Umbro Trophy.

They now face another trying test in tonight's replay against a well-organised Yorkshire outfit.

"Emley will be difficult to beat on their own ground, but the players once again showed great character to come back from behind," said under-fire manager Steve Waywell.

All looked lost as the game moved into injury-time when up popped substitute Michael Twiss. The former Manchester United starlet has recently had a lean time in front of goal, but latched onto Tony Black's pass to force the ball over the line and deny the Unibond Premier Division side victory.

It had all started so differerently as Leigh dominated the early exchanges and it was no surprise when Black put Leigh ahead in the 15th minute with his 50th strike for the club when he prodded the ball home from short range after Dino Maamria had forced a good save from the keeper.

The Yorkshiremen equalised in the 34th minute when sloppy defending gave Andy Wilson a free-header from Jamie Robshaw's free-kick.

Ian Monk and Black missed easy chances but none was as blatant as Emley's Andy Wilson whose shot hit the upright and bounced back to Micky Norbury and he failed to get a foot to the ball.

The visitors went ahead in the 34th minute after Mark Westhead made a great one-handed saveonly for the ball to fall at the feet of Gary Hatto and he tucked it away from close range.

Leigh looked to be heading out of another cup competition at the first time of asking until Twiss produced his lifeline.
