AFTER reading your article on the proposed waste recycling by burning by a private firm, it left me wondering how much further this Labour government will go in its endeavour to emulate Conservative policies.
A similar system is, I think, employed in Sweden, where household waste is burned and the resulting energy is converted into heat that is transferred to local housing -- free, ensuring lovely central heating in houses that have to stand far colder winters than ours.
Come on, New Labour, show us something that is nationalised besides the National Bank.
