A COMMUNITY arts project is hoping to set up shop in Rossendale.
Artists working on Rossendale's First Out scheme want to open a base in St James Street, Bacup, and use the premises rent free for the community project.
The group, working under the area's Irwell Sculpture Trail Scheme, have said they will move out if new tenants are found for the premises owned by Rossendale Borough Council. Members will consider the proposal tonight.
The team behind the initiative will be based in Rossendale with the project until March, when they plan to hold an exhibition.
