THE funeral of a former minister of the United Reformed Chapel is to be held on Thursday.
Mary Wyatt, who was team minister for the URC in Darwen between 1973 and 1980, died on January 17, aged 90.
Media officer for the United Reformed Church John East said: "As her executives, the Rev Geoff Tolley and myself are sad to announce the death of the Rev Mary Isabelle Wyatt, peacefully at her home at the Gables in Darwen. Mary's funeral will take place in the Lower Chapel United Reformed Church at 2pm before cremation at Pleasington.
There are to be no flowers. Instead, donations should be made to The Gables, Abbeyfield Society, via Ainsworth's Funeral Directors.
