ONE man on his way out of Ewood Park is defender Simon Grayson, who is set to join first division Bradford City on loan up to six weeks with a view to a permanent deal.

"We don't want the loan to go beyond the transfer deadline so it will be up to six weeks and the paperwork will be done today," said chief executive John Williams.

Ripon-born Grayson was signed from Aston Villa for £750,000 after spells with Leeds United and Leicester City.

Grayson could feature in as many eight games for the Bantams as the fixtures pile up.

City boss Nicky Law said: "We are happy to have got him. Grayson has done it in the Premiership and I am sure he will do it here for us.

"We have him for a month and he will play an important role for us."

Law added that Grayson would play a part in Saturday's lunchtime clash with Wolves.
